Winner Lynch records another fastest time on SS8

Kevin Lynch walked away with his 6th Dogleap victory in a row driving the Focus 05 WRC and was unchallenged in his home event and won by over a minute. Glenn Allen took second to score valuable points in the Pacenotes MSA Northern Ireland Rally Championship and put him firmly in the hunt for the title, as he now is just one point behind Connor McCloskey. The event based in Limavady and run by the Maiden City Motor Club consisted of 10 special stages covering a competitive 45 miles.

Third place was taken by Connor McCloskey, in a McKinstry Subaru S9, as championship rival Sean Devine had a major crash on SS6 in his S12. Cathal Rodgers took a highly creditable 4th and group N honours in his Evo ahead of regular UK visitor Tristan Pye in his N11. Emma McKinstry in the Subaru S9 had another consistent run to 9th following her career best at Shackleton where she was fifth o/a. Adrian Hetherington bent the Escort MK2 banana style, while Frank Kelly took top two wheel honours in tenth.

Lynch now moves his attention to Lurgan Park next weekend as he seeks his fifth straight win and will be in the S12B this time.
