Gareth MacHale may be running a MSD Opel Corsa S2000 as course car on the Cork 20 Rally

According to rallynews.net Gareth MacHale may be using an Opel Corsa Super 2000, as 00 or in a test role, on the Cork 20 at the end of September. It has been reported that the MacHale's have acquired the machine and intend to develop it for Irish rallying.
This news would come on the back of the TROA meeting, re: the ITC, where the emphasis appears to be putting S2000 at the forefront for the future of International rallying in Ireland.
Some drivers have also been associated with the new MEM Proton Satria Neo S2000 coming to Ireland. MEM boss Chris Mellors stated that much interest in the car had come from Ireland and that it would be ideally suited for Irish roads. Drivers in the frame include Donie O'Sullivan, who has been responsible for much of the Proton development work, and Roy White's name has also been mentioned as a potential customer.
