Marcus Gronholm hints that he may contest a few selected rallies next year and mentioned WRC Rally Norway as a possibility

Marcus Gronholm has admitted to mtv3.fi that a full-time return to the WRC is unlikely next year, but he did hint at possibly competing on one or two selective events.
Gronholm stated that he was fascinated by Rally Norway and that would be a rally he would like to contest in 2009 as it is fun to do and he wants to do a winter rally, but added that nothing has been confirmed.
He appeared to rule out a full WRC season in 2009 saying he finished that kind of commitment in 2007 and would just like to compete for fun now.
There was no mention of what team he would drive for if he did do a couple of events in 2009.
