Sebastien Loeb was in England today as he was visiting the Red Bull Racing facility at Milton Keynes for his seat fitting for the Red Bull RB4 F1 car.
Loeb will be doing an official test with the team at the Circuit de Catalunya, on the 17 November, as a present from Red Bull for claiming this year's WRC title. Loeb has also set the record for the most WRC titles by claiming five, all of which he achieved consecutively.
Meanwhile, Marcus Gronholm has stated to wrc.com that he believes that Sebastien Loeb is the greatest rally driver of all time.
Gronholm said of Loeb:
He’s the greatest driver ever and it’s quite easy to see. Just look the results and his records. I have been competing with many of the other drivers and he’s absolutely the fastest - no question.
There has never been a driver who has been so fast or made such good results all the time. Tommi [Makinen] was quick in a few rallies but he had crashes too. Colin [McRae] was quick one year but for the next three he wasn’t so good. Richard [Burns] was also very good but not at the same level as Sebastien. Carlos [Sainz] and Juha [Kankkunen] were also good but for me it’s really easy - Loeb is the best.”
