Munchi’s Ford World Rally Team plan to start 2009 WRC campaign in Cyprus

The Munchi's WRT is expected to commence it's WRC programme on Rally Cyprus next year, according to Motorsport News.

The M-Sport run team will miss Rally Ireland, Norway and Poland but will contest the other nine rounds. Frederico Villagra will contest the nine events, while a variety of drivers are set to share the second seat.

No drivers have been announced as yet but team owner Luis Perez Companc, who retired from driving in the WRC earlier this year, did suggest a few months ago that he would like to see another Argentinian in the seat at some stage, but added that European drivers would most likely be in the frame.
