Gilles Panizzi has been testing the Skoda Fabia S2000 on asphalt again, this time in the Alps Maritimes

The Czech Skoda Motorsport team were testing again, during the week, with Gilles Panizzi on the asphalt roads of the Alps Maritimes as they continue the development of the Fabia Super 2000.
Panizzi spent two days in the car and felt the Fabia was better, at the end of the second day, than the 207 S2000 he tested on the same roads in 2006. This would indicate that the car is progressing in the right direction.
Panizzi, who tested a Fabia in the Czech Republic recently, states that he is focusing on the development of the Skoda just now but he must be a possible contender to drive the car on the forthcoming Monte.
Jan Kopecky was also behind the wheel again conducting a further two days testing, at the weekend, as the team prepare for next years IRC and its opener the Monte Carlo Rally.
Oreca's Mario Fornaris was present as ever, focusing on engine development and the Reiger suspension during the sessions.
