Proton S2000 test Bryan Bouffier in the Ardeche France

Polish rally champion Bryan Bouffier tested the MEM Proton Satria Neo S2000 for three days in the Ardeche region of France this week.
Bouffier is expected to contest the ERC Rallye Antibes in October in the machine which would mark it's competitive debut. Bouffier apparently would like to possibly consider something long term with the Proton as was impressed with both the car and team during the three day test.
MEM boss Chris Mellors commented to Motorsport News how he felt the test went:
There is plenty of work still to do on the car. Peugeot used the same test area in France two weeks before we were there, so we've been able to get a good comparison. We're already beyond where we wanted to be at this stage in the car's development."
Meanwhile, Jonathan Greer, Alistair Fisher and Adam Gould tested the car at an MSA Rally Elite training day in Curborough in Staffordshire. Greer stated he would consider running a Proton next year but needs to see how competitive it is out on a stage first.
