Sebastien Ogier has been confirmed for the first six WRC events of 2009 in a Citroen Sport C4 WRC

Citroen Sport boss Olivier Quesnel has confirmed the expected news that Sebastien Ogier will drive a C4 WRC on the first six World Rally Championship events in 2009.

Olivier Quesnel appointed as director of both Citroen Sport and Peugeot Sport

Olivier Quesnel is to take up the new role as director of both Citroen Sport and Peugeot Sport from 1st January 2009, according to wrc.com.
Quesnel has been director of Citroen Sport since January 2008 and was involved in the setting up of Peugeot Talbot Sport with Jean Todt in 1980.

Olivier Quesnel has confirmed that Citroen will run an M2 team next year and Rautenbach will be one of the drivers

Olivier Quesnel has confirmed at Rally Japan that Citroen Sport will run a Manufacturer “M2″ Team on the 2009 WRC alongside the “M1″ team.
Citroen boss Quesnel stated that Conrad Rautenbach was confirmed as one of the drivers and a, ”young fast driver” would be his team-mate.
He then said, “You can guess!”

Key VW Motorsport figures at Rallye Deutschland while Citroen employees sighted at latest DTM race at Nurburgring
Senior Volkswagen personnel were present at Rally Germany last weekend as reported by rallye-magazin.de. Michel Bernard and Uwe Balds, two senior figures from the VW Motorsport department, were present. Uwe Balds is responsible for press activities at VW Motorsport.
