Christian Loriaux attended the test in Germany of Francois Duval
Ford WRT technical director, Christian Loriaux, took the unprecedented step of attending a customer team test session, that of Francois Duval. Loriaux rarely, if ever, attends customer tests but he and Ford feel Dudu is their best chance to beat Citroen on the upcoming asphalt rounds.

Opel S2000 will run as course-car on the ADAC Rallye Deutschland 2008

An Opel Corsa S2000 will run as a zero car on this years Rally Germany, it has been confirmed by rallye-magazin. Kris Meeke appears on the Rallye Deutschland 2008 Entry List in a Renault Clio S1600

Kris Meeke has appeared on the Rally Germany entry list (which has just been published) at number 63 in a Clio S1600. ADAC Eifel Rallye 2008 has some interesting WRCars in the entry
The Eifel Rallye, which takes place on 18-19 July 2008, has assembled a good World Rally Car entry being fronted by Mark van Eldik in his Subaru S12 WRC. More news following Ford’s R&D test in Spain with Mikko Hirvonen
It now transpires that M-Sport were testing new 08 engine mods on the Focus as well as new S2000 parts, according to sources present. The test covered much mileage and was described as productive. Geometry settings were being assessed while a new aluminium diff guard was being tried out but kept getting damaged when Hirvonen was corner cutting on the Spanish tarmac. Citroen test in Mosel Valley with Sebastien Loeb for forthcoming Rally Germany
Citroen have begun preparations for the tarmac rounds of the WRC as are currently testing in the Mosel Valley region of Germany. Loeb has won the ADAC Rallye Deutschland for the past five years and is intent on making it six, while Citroen haven’t been beaten in Germany since 2001.
