IRC calendar 2009 could include events from Brazil, Scotland and Japan as well as events already confirmed such as the Monte Carlo Rally and the Safari
Events from Scotland and Brazil could be included in next year’s IRC, RallyBuzz understands. Although a route has yet to be confirmed for the Scottish rally, the proposals are for a three day rally which would include the Highland and Stirling areas, as well as Perth and Kinross, in an effort to recreate the old Scottish Rally of the 1970’s and 80’s.

Kenya wants Safari Rally back into the World Rally Championship
Organisers of the East African Safari Rally have been urged by the Kenyan government to do all it can to get the event back on the WRC calendar according to MN. Vice- president Stephen Kalonzo made the request to the Kenyan Motor Sports Federation at the start of last weekend’s KCB Safari Rally.
