Guy Wilks is close to securing the third Subaru WRT drive for ten rounds in the 2009 WRC

Guy Wilks is said to be close to announcing very soon that he will be driving the third works Subaru on ten rounds of next year’s World Rally Championship, according to Portuguese website Autosport.pt.

Markko Martin has been linked to an entry on the South Estonia Rally in a Subaru S14 WRC

Markko Martin may be entered for the South Estonia Rally on July18/19 by SWRT, in a S14 WRC, according to MSN. Richard Taylor said there was a possibility they could enter Martin but sourcing a car is proving difficult. Subaru S14 first test on tarmac with Markko Martin in Italy

Subaru are currently conducting their first asphalt test in Italy with Markko Martin according to http://www.wrcisfree.com/posts/2008/06/19/674-la-nouvelle-impreza-sur-l-asphalte  The test is four days long.
