An intriguing entry has been assembled for the 2008 event on the 13-15th of June. Some interesting combinations appear on the list, such as David Bogie in an Oakbank Services Keith Bird run 6R4 and the possibility of Niall McShea in a RGRS Polo S2000, although Niall still has to make up some of the budget. Breen wins Moonraker to take commanding lead in Irish National Forestry Championship

Ray Breen took a convincing win on the Moonraker Rally to lead the Forestry championship after two rounds. Kenny McKinstry finished second as Breen claimed fastest times on every stage. Andrew Purcell was using Derrick Jobb’s Evo 6 as his Subaru’s engine was damaged prior to the event, he finished 8th after suffering a broken driveshaft.
