Valentino Rossi would only consider a full-time switch to the WRC if he was to get the best car available, according to Motorsport News.

Valentino Rossi confirmed to use a Ford Focus RS WRC on Wales Rally GB 2008

Valentino Rossi has confirmed that he will use a Ford Focus WRC on this year’s Rally GB.

It is believed he will use the same 07 Focus in Wales that he will contest Rally Monza in, a few weeks before the WRC event. Rossi will use an M-Sport car which will carry his own personal sponsors.

Valentino Rossi now linked to a works Ford Focus for Wales Rally GB 2008

Moto GP superstar Valentino Rossi is now being linked to an M-Sport Focus for Wales Rally GB according to Motorsport News.

Apparently he has stopped negotiations with Prodrive about running a Subaru S14 and has since signed a deal with M-Sport to contest the Monza Rally. Malcolm Wilson has confirmed that he is talking to Rossi’s people about also driving a works Focus on Rally GB.

Valentino Rossi to use Subaru World Rally Team S14 WRC on Wales Rally GB 2008

Valentino Rossi is expected to use a SWRT S14 WRC on Rally GB this December according to Motorsport News.
