Dakar 2009 Day 4 standings: Sainz ahead in close battle with Al-Attiyah

Carlos Sainz in the VW Touareg won stage 4, from Jacobacci to Neuquen, by a slender six seconds ahead of the BMW of Nasser Al-Attiyah.

Dakar Argentina-Chile 2009 Day 3: Al-Attiyah wins his second stage as Sainz continues to lead

Nasser Al-Attiyah was second fastest on the Day 3 stage, from Puerto Madryn to Jacobacci, of Dakar 2009 to move up to second overall behind leader Carlos Sainz.
