M-Sport are interested in entering January’s Safety Direct Galway International in preparation for Rally Ireland 09

M-Sport are said to be interested in fielding some of its Ford teams on the Galway International Rally 2009 in preparation for the WRC season’s opening Rally Ireland, according to rallynews.net.

Marcus Gronholm could have replaced Francois Duval for Wales Rally GB

Malcolm Wilson wished to place Marcus Gronholm in the Stobart Focus for Wales Rally GB had Francois Duval elected to not take part, according to autoklub.pl.

Duval confirmed this in an interview with RTBF last week when he was testing Pieter Tsjoen’s Focus just after the Condroz Rally. He was contemplating not competing again after the accident in Japan, which nearly claimed the life of his navigator Patrick Pivato.

Roger Albert Clark (RAC) Rally 2008 results & videos: Malcolm Wilson wins in the Pirelli Stobart Energy Kick Mk2 Escort

Malcolm Wilson took victory on the Roger Albert Clark Rally (RAC) driving a Stobart Mk2 Escort.

Wilson, who had fellow M-Sport man and former Motoring News Road Rally champion John Millington sitting with him, won the event by nearly six and a half minutes ahead of David Stokes in a Mk1 Escort. Irishman Seamus O’Connell took an excellent third o/a in his Mk2 Escort.

Colin McRae Forest Stages Rally 2008 seeded Entry List: Jimmy McRae, Bjorn Waldegaard, Ari Vatanen, Hannu Mikkola, Stig Blomqvist etc etc…

The final seeded entry list has been published and the top ten running order will be determined at the rally forum on the Friday night prior to the event by a draw.
