FSTi launches into its fourth successive year in the WRC

The Fiesta SportTrophy International (FSTi) will return to the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) for its fourth successive year in April 2009 and will again be supported by tyre manufacture Pirelli.

Rally Norway has extended entry deadline until Tuesday 13/1/09

Rally Norway organisers have decided to extend the entry closing date until next Tuesday 13 January at 15.00 hrs CET.
Entries were to close today at 3pm but in the wake of Petter Solberg requesting an extension until Friday and problems for other competitors trying to secure deals, the organisers have taken the unprecedented step to postpone the deadline until next Tuesday.

Petter Solberg misses Rally Norway deadline but seeks extension until Friday

Norwegian news agency nrk.no has reported that Petter Solberg has missed the deadline to enter Rally Norway 2009 (which closed today at 15.00 CET).
Solberg has asked for an extension to the entry deadline until Friday and it is up to the FIA to approve such a request .
Petter explained the current predicament to nrk.no:
I still have more options which I am working on, but at the moment I have no car to drive.”
