FSTi launches into its fourth successive year in the WRC

The Fiesta SportTrophy International (FSTi) will return to the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) for its fourth successive year in April 2009 and will again be supported by tyre manufacture Pirelli.

Petter Solberg free to drive for any team or marque in the 2009 WRC and beyond

It has been announced on Petter Solberg’s website that he is free to drive with any other marque now in the World Rally Championship, after he and Subaru came to an agreement.
Petter is under contract with Subaru in Japan (who pay his wages) and it wasn’t clear before this statement if he would be able to drive for other teams/cars in next season’s WRC.

Sebastien Loeb: the Group B Audi Sport quattro S1 was a dream but I prefer World Rally Cars

In a recent interview with Eurosport France Sebastien Loeb admitted to being a fan of the Audi Sport quattro S1 but he prefers the WRC cars of today, and also states he isn’t nostalgic for rallying in the 70s and 80s.
