Bernd Casier certainly impressed in the Rene Georges Rally Sport Polo S2000 on the Ieper rally but it started very differently at shakedown. Casier went off on his first run crashing into a house, it wasn’t known how badly the car was damaged and if it could be fixed for the rally in the morning. He didn’t even set a time for shakedown!

Ypres Westhoek Rally 2008 Final Results, Loix cruises to a dominant victory

Freddy Loix took a convincing win on the Ypres Rally 2008 and was never headed throughout the event. He started Day 2 with a 1m 13s lead to Vouilloz and then increased this when Vouilloz spun off the road on SS10 and dropped to 4th. Brice Tirabassi and Gilles Schammel testing for forthcoming Ypres Rally 2008 in Belgium

Tirabassi (207 S2000) and Schammel (Clio R3) have both been testing recently for the upcoming Ypres Westhoek Rally 2008 in Belgium. Freddy Loix and Patrick Snijers test Kronos Peugeot 207 S2000 prior to Ypres Rally 2008

Patrick Snijers got his first taste of the Kronos 207 today during a test in Belgium. He appeared to adapt very well to it as appeared calm and relaxed throughout. The test was conducted near Komen in Belgium as the area is representative of the Ypres stages.

Ypres Westhoek Rally 2008 has assembled 18 S2000’s on the entry which is a record

This years Ypres rally in Belgium, on the 26-28 June, is set to be a classic with a record 18 S2000’s entered from four different manufacturers, MG, VW, Fiat and Peugeot.
