2008 Toddsleap.com Ulster International Rally and the reigning European rally champion Simon Jean-Joseph is entered in the C2-R2 Max

This year's event will see Simon Jean-Joseph continue his tour of European events for Citroen Sport in the C2 R2 Max. Joseph will also be performing test runs for the media a day or two before the event and he scored a magnificent 8th o/a on the recent IRC Rally Russia. He may be, again, up against Kris Meeke in the Clio R3, though this may be unlikely given it's proximity to Rallye Germany which Meeke has secured the funding for and an entry on Ulster was only speculated about.
ERC champ for Ulster

Other notable possible entries include: Eugene Donnelly in the Fabia, Kevin Lynch Subaru S12B, Kenny McKinstry Subaru WRC, Peadar Hurson Subaru S9, Emma McKinstry Subaru WRC, runaway ITRC leader Eamonn Boland Subaru S12B.
The top BRC runners will be there including the Higgins brothers, Wilks, Stuart Jones in the MG et al. After being sensationally dropped by Mitsubishi UK, Philip Morrow hopes to secure a TEG Subaru for his home event. Richard Cathcart appears on the entries received in a Subaru after he quit the Evo Challenge. David Bogie is there as well as the other regular Evo runners though it will be interesting to see if anyone else follows Cathcart out of the series.
